Scott has worked in the media and education sectors for over 15 years in New Zealand, South Korea, Australia and the United States. While his more recent focus has been on creating and producing award-winning, original content for multimedia platforms, Scott has extensive experience and post-graduate qualifications in English language and literature, research and mentoring, as well as in-depth knowledge of cross-departmental and cross-industry collaboration processes in the education sector.
An experienced lecturer, teacher and coach, and with more than a decade of leading complex creative projects, he possesses strong leadership and organisational skills, and enjoys being challenged in collaborative and education-based work environments.

Ben is an award-winning filmmaker currently based in Wellington, New Zealand. Having spent the better part of 20 years in the creative industry, and producing content for a wide range of international clientele across multiple sectors, Ben has amassed a strong portfolio of film and photographic work. He has worked on a number major motion pictures in the Wellington region and his production work has taken him to all corners of the world.

Jonathon (Jono) has taught English since 1997, holding academic and managerial positions in Ireland, Mexico, and New Zealand, which have also encompassed brief stints in Guatemala, Japan, Korea and China. He holds a PhD and MA in applied linguistics, a postgraduate diploma in second language teaching and a bachelor degree in Screen & Media Studies. Jono is particularly interested in applying insights from Conversation Analysis. His research has appeared in the prestigious journals Language Learning, Journal of Pragmatics, and ELT Journal, and he co-edited the recent volume Reflective Practice: Voices from the Field (Routledge, 2017). Jono has also spent many years designing and writing teaching materials, both in his previous role as a Director of Studies and more recently through publications such as Modern English Teacher and a forthcoming volume by TESOL Press.
Nick Wilkinson is Jimmy Fortune
Nick Wilkinson has been involved in the dramatic arts for over twenty years. A sought-after stage director, Nick has worked extensively with some of New Zealand’s biggest names. He has a deep understanding of the storytelling process and of how to bring characters to life. As an actor, Nick is highly regarded for his versatility, playing many iconic leading roles from the dramatic to the comedic. Nick has a focus on fostering and nurturing new talent in the industry.
Sash Nixon is Daniel Tait
Sash Nixon is an award-winning Maori filmmaker and actor, who has been involved in short films since he graduated with Honours in Screen and Media at the University of Waikato in 2003. In 2011, his sci-fi film "Star Wars Hunter" won him a "Best Acting" award at San Diego Comic Con. In 2016, he landed his first feature role in the film "Penny Black" as the comedic superhero Lapwing. He also co-wrote, co-directed and co-starred in "The Anniversary", a drama that won "Best Film" at Tropfest NZ 2017. He is currently writing and developing his first feature film.
Alice Kimber-Bell is Jenny Tait
Alice Kimber-Bell has been performing onstage for a number of years in a variety of roles, including as a singing mermaid, Portia/Jessica/Nerissa in Merchant of Venice, Peter Rabbit and countless other characters, along with forays into film during this time too. Alice also loves to act, sing, read and spend time with family and friends. She is excited to join the cast of Fortune and looks forward to working with the talented team.
Courteney Mayall is Susie Lee
Courteney is a musical theatre performer and character voice actor. Her intrinsic passion for performance, particularly focused on singing, has seen her relish every opportunity to get on stage. Courteney has been involved in musical theatre for over 10 years, featuring in a range of productions. She has more recently been involved in doing numerous character voices for various audio recordings, utilised by a range of international projects. These roles have been both spoken and sung.
